01When to call a vet — now
If your pet shows signs such as difficulty breathing, collapse, unresponsiveness, continuous or severe bleeding, seizures, suspected poisoning, a severely bloated or hard abdomen, or serious trauma, stop relying on the app and contact an emergency veterinary clinic immediately.
02What TokiTail does
TokiTail helps you understand and track patterns in your pet's behaviour, sleep, and activity; organise health records, observations, photos, and history; receive AI-assisted urgency guidance; prepare structured summaries for veterinary visits; and access general pet-health education and early-warning insights.
03What TokiTail doesn't do
TokiTail does not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medication, recommend prescription-drug dosages, or replace a licensed veterinarian's professional judgement. Suggestions are based on the information available through your conversations, pet profile, uploaded content, and supported sensor data — not a physical veterinary examination.
04Smart Tag data limits
Sensor outputs such as activity, sleep, temperature, and estimated respiratory-rate trends are informational trend indicators, not diagnostic measurements. Individual readings may be affected by movement, device fit or placement, signal quality, environmental conditions, and other factors.
05AI triage — Red / Orange / Green
TokiTail's triage system provides an urgency indication based on the information available to it. Green indicates that no urgent red flag has been identified from the information provided (not a clean bill of health); Orange indicates that the situation may require closer monitoring or veterinary follow-up; Red indicates that urgent veterinary attention may be needed. AI triage does not replace professional veterinary judgement — if symptoms persist, worsen, or you remain concerned about your pet, contact a licensed veterinarian.
06In an emergency
When information provided to TokiTail suggests an urgent situation, the app may surface a Red-flag alert and help you identify appropriate veterinary care. In a true emergency, contact your local emergency veterinary hospital directly and do not rely solely on TokiTail or wait for an AI response.
07Limitation of liability
By using TokiTail, you acknowledge that decisions regarding your pet's health remain your responsibility. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TokiTail and Lumo Technologies Pte. Ltd. disclaim liability for outcomes resulting from reliance on information provided through the Services.
